We are delighted that our Nominating Committee has been working hard over the past few months and have presented the combined Parish Profile to the Kirk Session which was approved on the 19th of June, 2025.

A meeting of the congregation of Stepps Parish Church shall be held after public worship on Sunday the 6^th of October for the purpose of considering and, if so resolved, approving the adjustment of the congregation in terms of the proposed Basis of Adjustment with Garthamlock , Ruckazie & Craigend. There can be no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has challenged churches and communities to work in new ways. Churches have risen to the challenge of developing online presence and worship, as well as supporting communities practically and prayerfully over the period.

25 March 2021 Church Re-Opening

The First Minister announced permission has now been granted for communal worship to resume from the 26th of March 2021. This is welcome news and as such we will re-open for public worship on Sunday the 28th of March - Palm Sunday. In-person worship is restricted to a maximum attendance of 50 people, which includes worshippers of all ages, the minister, musicians, ushers, and volunteers stewarding the service.

I’m glad to be able to report that things have moved on for the Company in the last few weeks, as BBUK have now given permission for us to resume face-to-face activity outdoors.

We have now launched our On Demand Worship service provided in Partnership with Greyfriars Parish Church Lanark.

Following the easing of some of the restrictions and having completed all the appropriate risk assessments we were able to re-open for Worship on Sunday the 30th of August at a reduced capacity.
